Only Gays does not charge to join or to message. A profile is for members who are signed in. Scruff is a different service. Check their site for what they charge and what a profile shows.
The first line is what we do. The second line is what to check on Scruff. We do not publish their terms.
Only Gays is free to join and free to message. A voice call or a video call on the site is free. There is no subscription and no credit card, so there is no charge on a statement.
Scruff sets its own price. Check their site before you join. A price can change.
Other members see the username you chose, your age, your town, and the photos you chose. They do not see your surname, your address, or your workplace unless you type those in. A web search does not open the profile.

The age check is free. A person reviews the ID. Other members never see the document, and your legal name is not put on the profile. Until it is approved, you cannot message, and other members' photos stay blurred.

A person reviews an upload. One current photo of you is enough before search opens. A private photo stays locked until you share it. Until the other member has done the age check, your photos stay blurred for them.

The conversation stays on Only Gays. You do not have to reply. A message that asks for an email address or a phone number is not delivered.
See whether Scruff lets a stranger ask you to move the conversation somewhere else.
You can pause the profile. Other members cannot find it while it is paused, and you can still look. Deleting the account removes the profile and the messages you sent. Delete photos and videos first. That cannot be undone.
